It was just an ideal choice for a stopover in Iwakuni with exceptional value. The bento box provided during lunch was nicely presented, despite being cold. Try to learn a few Japanese phrases before dining for a smoother experience.

The on-site sauna and outdoor hot spring were perfect for relaxation after a long day. One small downside was the limited English in the dining area, which made ordering a bit tricky, but I still recommend trying the breakfast options! 😌

The room was larger than I expected with a separate toilet and shower that freed up space. The bed was seriously the most comfortable one I've had during my travels in Japan so far. Great views of the Kintaikyo Bridge and the surroundings really added a nice touch to the vibe. Honestly, just felt cozy and welcoming overall, but I did notice some minor stains on the carpet that were a bit off.

The location is exceptional, located just across the street from Kintaikyo Bridge, and the room was larger than anticipated, featuring a separate toilet and shower for added space. The breakfast had a satisfying variety, including a delicious mapo tofu dish, making it a pleasant start to the day.
Language barriers in the dining area hindered the experience at the Second Floor Restaurant.

I loved everything about my stay at Kokusai Kanko. The room had a stunning view of Kintaikyo bridge and the beautiful hillside scenery. I soaked in the onsen at least twice a day. it felt relaxing and truly recharged my spirit. The Japanese breakfast options were satisfying and left me feeling light, which I appreciated. My room remained impeccably clean throughout my stay, with all necessary amenities. Kudos to the staff for their warmth and helpfulness, truly making me feel welcomed. A downside was that the carpet in my room had odd stains that didn’t match the otherwise lovely atmosphere. Even though the overall vibe was great, this detail stood out and could use attention.
